I was talking to a co-worker who at their previous job had worked on a plastic tile floor and noted that there were issues with building up a electrostatic charge when working on it. Has anyone noted this issue with the many options out there (RaceDeck, Swisstrax, etc.)? I know this gets to be an issue indoors during the winter when the humidity is very low. This could be just a minor inconvenience with static charge shocks or a major problem with flammable liquids.

Swisstrax, our Private Label Premium Tiles, and I am certain tiles like Racedeck have data on the exact ESD. That said you can order tiles with anti-static raw materials at a higher cost or you can use products like http://www.all-spec.com/products/2001.html on top of standard tiles.

Hi - he is correct and we have many options for anti-stat from for existing floors as well as floors we manufacture for many industries ( aerospace, electronics, labs, et) just give us a call and we will see what is the best and most cost effective solution.
