Can anyone recommend me a good plastic stick rivet gun? I've been having to pull a lot of inner fender liners and reinstall them lately. Just wondering if there are any out there that are good for a decent price......... I really don't want to spend 100 dollars on one from the Cornwell truck. Thanks

Astro has a decent little kit with a small selection of plastic rivets. I have one, no complaints.

I use a harbor freight one like the tool trucks sell and a marson like the ones above. I grab whichever is closer. Also, a giant middle finger to Chrysler for using 25 of these on each wheel liner. :gunfire:

Worked for Chrysler/jeep for a number of years. I have the matco plastic riveter kit, and it served me well--no complaints.

I have the Marson and the squeeze type hf one. Would recommend both. And I was a bodyman so the hf has been well used, actually go for it first.

On this topic, what are some good rivets in smaller sizes? I'm still working my way through an assortment I bought but they're no good. The points are way bigger than the body so when you drill for the body diameter they won't go through, and they don't grab tight at all. Maybe I'm hoping for too much from a plastic rivet.

You have to use the correct diameter and length rivets for the application. I buy from here : http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/
