I've got this pair of side cutters that were my father's



My dad was notorious for buying cheap tools, but i kept these because they've always served me well and like i said they were my dad's. Tonight while in the shop and using then yet again I decided to look for a manufacturers stamp or some kind of brand. Inside one handle i found this:



Ok, not much to go on there. Then i turned them over to look inside the other handle and found this:



No wonder they've served me so well! What a pleasant surprise!

Years ago I was working on my girlfriend's '59 Austin Healey "bugeye" Sprite. I asked her to hand me a pair of dikes. Took some 'splaining....
