Hi All,

I'm building a garage at present and am trying to figure out if I need to do anything extra or special to accomodate my desire for heating and cooling of the upstairs loft. Here are the garage specs:

24 x 32 Pole Building with 10' ceilings
Will have a Gambrel Attic Truss Setup (provides a 12' x 32' loft w/ 8' ceilings)
Concrete Floor (5" thick is what I am planning)
Will have metal roofing and siding
Posts are 6x6 Pressure Treated
Using 2x4's for wall girts, and 2x6's (all 2' O.C.) for the roof purlins
Plan to install 1" rigid foam insulation under the steel for a vapor barrier on walls and roof

I am planning to use this loft space as a home gym. I am worried mostly about cooling the space in the summer to make working out more doable.

I will be installing electric service, but the windows I purchased are the sliding type, which I am thinking won't accept a traditional window unit A/C.

Any suggestions for me?
