Well I think this would make a great "forum" project... just an idea.

So, basicall I'm down to trying to figure out what is the best product for me to use on my new garage floor and possibly my detailing shop floor. Trust me I've done research and pros and cons to all.

I am open to what the forum members here know and experianced with these products. I'm interested in mostly Rock Solid, Epoxy coat, and Legacy's coating options.

Currently I'm for sure going to do the new garage at my house we just finished. its 24x25 roughly two car garage.

I need a durable finish that won't peel up as I'll be parking the GTR and EVO X in there all the time. And their rubber is sticky and can be hot.

Also i'll be doing a lot of detailing out of there and vehicle work/track prep.

Looking for maybe a darker floor (dark grey maybe black and use a lot of chips)

This will be step one of the project. step two will be all the lighting and electric options, and three will be wall paint and finishing.

Thanks in advance.

I am having mine done professionaly with epoxy. If I were you, I would do the floor last after you finish everything else.

I'm hoping to do a 20x20 floor once the weather improves and I have planned on using epoxy or polyaspartic all along, but I am worried about screwing it up and also worried that it might not last forever....so I am considering going with racedeck because it isn't permanent.

I hav eno issues or worry about doing the project. I have done many other things including coatings. I am just trying to figure out exactly wich one to do for this projet as it is going to be in the house we just built and want to do this once and get the best item I can out there and be happy with it, with no regrets.

And as far as doing floor first, it makes life a little easier as I want to get it done ASAP before oil stains and stuff appears and get my cars into their respective home soon. And wall finishing and lighting is not a big deal to me. I actually view it easier then the floor as I've done finishing work many times before.
