Please help I.D. my free jack. Pic heavy.

I need help with an I.D. on this jack and advise on parts availability. It looks to me like a Walker or maybe a Hein Werner. I rescued it from certain death at the hands of the scrap metal pile. The vent cap looks broken to me and it leaks fluid while releasing a light load (havent tried a heavy one) I'd like to replace the vent assembly and re condition this jack if it's worth doing so. Make? Model? Capacity? Date? Any info is welcome. Thanks!

93642 Walker/Lincoln.. 2 Ton. The Vent is missing the Filter section.. If you need a Rebuild Kit or a New Vent (Metal) give me a Shout.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I had a sneaky suspicion it was a Walker but no idea on model or capacity. Other than the vent and some surface ugly this unit is in good shape. Smooth casters, nothing missing or bent and it appears like it would make a good jack......am I wrong? Should I try just a vent assembly only or go for a full re-seal? I can put it in service right away as long as its worth messing with. Thoughts?

It's worth messing with with. Hiball's brass vents are very nice (I have one of them) and his kit will come with everything to build it. Doesn't take but an hour or two and you will have a jack that is good for another 20 years.

Question for the experienced jack repairmen here: Do I need to tear down this jack and inspect the internals and take any measurements before getting parts? Oh, and my Lincoln 93642 and a Walker 93632.....same jack?

No.. You don't have to tear the jack down for seal measurements, that leg work has already been done. The 642 and a 632 is essentially the same jack with the exception of the type of seals used (ie leather versus poly and packing versus quad rings) on different series.

Thanks for the info Hiball, I'm looking forward to putting this older jack back in the saddle again. I'll be using it professionally so I want to take my time and do it right. Now I just need a vent and a seal kit....PM inbound.

My jack seal kit and brass vent arrived in good condition today. May try to tear into it this weekend, thanks Hiball!
