Hello all,

I recently acquired 3 vintage snap on toolboxes in a garage sale. I don't know much about these toolboxes other than that they are highly collectible and of good quality. If you knowledgeable people could please help me identify these toolboxes and their value it would be much appreciated. I don't see any markings on the toolboxes to help identify them but if you know where a marking may be on them I can check for you.

Here is a photo of the first one which measures 26" x 14" x 12". It has one top main shelf section with removable tray. Three small pull out shelf sections. Three large pull out shelf sections.

One of the two side handles with a number 7 by it which I think was added later

The 2nd toolbox which measures 24" x 12" x 10 1/2". It has main shelf section with removable tray. It has three big pull out shelf sections.

You're newer box and the side box will have a stamping on the back with model and mfg. date. Take a look at the catalogs on the collecting snap on site.

I apologize, I didn't mean to do that and I'm not sure how I did that but I don't see how to end a thread so if an administrator can close it or if you can tell me how I can do it I'd like the other thread to be closed. Sorry!

KR-56 late 40's - late 50's probably not stamped
KRA-53 1970's is stamped on the back for exact year
KRA-274 1970's is stamped on the back for exact year

They are all pretty common boxes and look, uhm, very well used. Not much interest to a true collector. What did you have to give for all three?
