Thanks Jeff, My name is John, I'm from Massachusetts and I'm in the metal recycling business. I do towing, scrap metal, junk cars, etc. My addiction is tools, tools, tools. I love new tools but my problem is when I buy something new, I don't want to get it dirty so I hesitate using it. Sometimes I will buy the same tool in used condition so I have one to use and one to save. I know that makes no sense, but that's my tool addiction. So far, I'm very happy with the GJ, it's nice having a place to ask technical questions and get quick helpful responses. Thanks again, it's good to be on board.

Welcome to GJ, John.

You have found a place where we speak tools, cars and other cool stuff. That is some addiction. We don't really have a 12 step process here, but many of the projects we do involve 12 tools or more. It may help to buy two at a time - one to hang on the shelf and look at and one to put to use. But always keep the Simple Green and a paper towel handy in case the tool gets too dirty. It will come clean again. We're here to help... Good Luck!

Thanks for the hospitality. BTW, I do use simple green for many cleaning jobs, but for wiping my tools I'd prefer WD-40 with the paper towels to prevent any chance of rust.
