Please help identify post vise's mfg. logo

I've looked through the manufacture list but I cannot figure out what company this is. It's a 5" blacksmith post vise. Thank you,

I tried searching for patents on that date, but don't see anything relating to a vise.

I wonder if it has to do with the bell end on the screw.

I don't think that is an original part of the vise. That appears to be a GMC truck screw jack that someone added on to your vise.

Now that makes perfect sense. It got dark but I was going to look at the narrow end of the bell. It has some small raised pieces on it that can be seen in the picture that just don't seem to belong there.

I agree. Looks like a modified vise.
