Just because the cutter was made by them doesn't mean the plane was made by them. Most plane makers of that time bought the cutters they used rather than making their own. Notice the marking on the front end isn't Spear & Jackson. The chipbreaker is yet another maker.It was made by Spear and Jackson, they are still in business.

Last five, yes, but I’ve never seen a name with that spelling. Doubting your L choices, especially the 2nd one. Turn up your super vision, and give it another try. Maybe LNUER, LNEER? Doing better than I was tho.
