Please help me decide on a socket set

I won't be buying anymore craftsman tools. Truck brand sockets are better when you need them to be. I've stripped a bolt with a craftsman 6 point socket, then successfully removed the same bolt with a snapon 6 point socket.
Also, I don't want to get china tools when I need to warranty something. You should look into Williams, they seem to be very reasonably priced, but possibly a bit delayed warranty than tuck tools or craftsman / gear wrench.

I did and I regret it... The chrome is ****** and the tolerances are subpar on a few. I am either going GearWrench or Mac edge.

But for me, there great! I try to get the oldest craftsman stuff possible (for quality) And, Im not a professional...nor do I have the budget to get the latest Snap-on or mac sockets...

Forgot to say, I also am disappointed in Craftsmans chrome..for me, it didn't rub off, because it never had it on!

I have never had a problem with traditional Craftsman sockets (any drive) or accessories and think they are a great bargain, especially used. I can't recall breaking one. People practically give them away. I think their basic ratchets are very weak, good only for occasional use or carrying in the car.
