Good Morning,

I found these at a recent estate sale and I'm having difficulty trying to identify them. Originally I thought it was made from aluminum but they are metal, spot welded construction. Measuring approximately 19" long, 1.75" wide and 4.25" tall. To me they resemble test tube holders with the wrong size holes cut out. Any ideas?

Those are nice. Looks like the one on the left holds 5 of each size and the right holds 2 of each size in the front row and three of each size in the back row. Are they made of tin?

I'm not inclined to believe that they are tool holders. Would tool holders have that strange arrangement of holes? Of coarse, I don't have any idea what they are, otherwise. :cautious:

Thanks everyone. I'm inclined to believe that they are some specialized tool/bit holder for manufacturing after your guesses. I believe they sit on a post (one side has a 3/4" hole through the bottom. Heavier than tin.

I don’t know why, but it made me think of an artificial flower stand. Some artificial flowers have just a thin wire stem, that would fit in the smaller holes.

I've been thinking that maybe it was a display stand for items "for sale" in a store. A few different stem diameters, and the items are arranged to look pretty; Like maybe for artificial flowers. :D

If you’ve ever seen some of the artificial flower departments in some fabric stores, they’re huge. I could see something like that being there.

I think your pretty much right with a test tube rack. Searching for centrifuge rack and multifunction rack gave somewhat similar racks. Maybe the other one is for swabs?
