Looks like a player, piano part. The few I’ve worked on had something similar, but not 100% sure.

I have worked on a bunch of weird stuff from nuclear reactors (not anything crazy just the Control side of it) to animatronics and aircraft. I like working on some of the older stuff to and trying to figure out how it works especially trying to restore old Nickelodeon’s. Worked on animatronics for the this guy a few years ago now he wants to see if I can work some automated music machines for him. Should be fun never did it before.

It looks like the pneumatic switches or other parts you find on wood pipe organs.
I can’t say for certain that that is what it is, but the construction methods are exactly what you see in older organs.
