Please help me wire my thermostat

The heater and thermostat were purchased together from the same company and both should be using the 24V heat only circuit.

Given the attached diagrams (one from the heater and one from the thermostat), can someone please confirm for me that I am thinking about this correctly.

I feel that W1 should go to Low and W2 should go to High. Lastly, RH should go to 24V.

I feel the diagram is a bit confusing because of the generic heater instructions calling out a 24V pin when there is nothing in the directions that came with the thermostat that calls out a 24V pin.

Thanks in advance.

I see it the same way you do. "24 V" should be "Rh", "Low" should be "W1", "High" should be "W2", and I would think "N" would go to "C" on normal T-stat. Why in the world they wouldn't just use the standard color code is beyond me...

Yes, what model and make is that heater. The lack of standard designators on the terminals on the heater make me a tad nervous. It looks to me that either they work and live in a cloud or that they expect a specific, probably custom, thermostat.

It's a Re-Verber-Ray LD series heater. Like I said the thermostat is what came (as a package) with the heater so I'm sure it is meant to work with the specific unit as opposed to needed a custom thermostat.

Assuming PSD022BA thermostat, then as LS6 Tommy says. Which is what you felt was correct. And a special curse for companies who do this! (I ended up downloading the manuals for both the heater and the thermostat to be sure...)

Yep, you had it right. Post an update later and let us know how you like that heater!

Initial impressions are great. I have the thermostat set to its minimum (45*) and it makes a huge difference in there. granted it was -11* this morning. I have not yet noticed any condensation/moisture on tools etc and my slab started heating up immediately. It is 49* right under the tube and gets down to about 34* near the edges of the building. I hope the longer I run the heat the more heat will make its way into the slab.

if u have the user Manual. u can read it and figure it out.

I have it, those pictures were from the manual. Thanks for the insight.
