Please help with shower door

Hi all.

Came home from holidays and I noticed the shower door is out of alignment. I hope no one is having *** in there asides from me.

It looks like the top hinge needs to be adjusted, seems out. I’m wondering if there’s a easy way to do this vs pulling the whole door off.

If you know the brand and model # you can look up the installation instructions to see what it says. Just looking at your photos I’d say it has to come off. A suction cup handle helps immensely with handling glass.

That's a problem right there. Not being on site I'd say the weight of the glass has pulled the wall in a bit. So now the opening is too short.

Edit: Not 'short' but narrow. Gotta get the terms correct.

Glass Doors are often very heavy, this will not be a one person job.

can't really tell, but I wonder if the glass at the top hinge has "slipped " or the wall has moved like Zeke said . would have to see better pics or see it in person to decide what happened

Yeah, they can slip. Just put a wood wedge under it to adjust the height correctly and tighten it up.
