Could somebody please ID this compressor? I have spent hours searching the internet and haven't found one like it. It has a 2.25" bore and a 1.05" stroke. It is very well built...cast iron, Timken main bearings, disc type valves.
Cast on the crankcase is probably a manufactures mark (which I can't read), the numbers 5-18 which looks like a date code to me, and possibly a casting part number of J-1081 or J-1061 or something like that.
The only picture I found that was close (but not the exact same) was a "Decora Manufacturing Co" compressor currently listed on Ebay. An internet search for Decora compressor (and many other phases) resulted in no answers.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Happy New Year.
