Please identify this jack and tell me about it

Good evening

Does anybody know what jack it is? Do you know how much it can hold?

Assuming it needs a total restoration - is it possible to get hydraulic parts for it? (Or how much do you think it would cost to have hydraulics restored professionally)

Thank you in advance - there is a possibility of me getting it based on more information.

I look through the web site and can not find any jacks with the same front wheel covers.
The owner said that emblem is not readable, possibly Wesco...

Gentlemen, I want your opinion again: I got in touch with the owner: I can get this for $60, but it's frozen and condition of hydraulics is unknown. The owner is acting a little strange, but I think I can convince him to complete the deal
Would you go for it? … might end up being an art piece - not sure if hydraulic units can be rebuild on old jacks (if you know that they can be rebuilt or replaced, please let me know)

Seems pretty low-risk if you're handy. It looks like a big ol' boy, and I'd struggle to find room for it, but I'd be mighty tempted just for the journey...

Thank you, gentlemen. If everything goes well, it will be picked up by one of my friends at the end of the week and eventually travel to me.
I never restored anything this big and never took apart jacks. This will be an interesting learning experience

I believe that my first rebuild was a Weaver 73 similar to that one. Parts were readily available. I found that I wasn't using it and sold it. When lifting from the side, the handle would hit the side of the garage.

The front caster mount needs to be re-welded, I expect you see. A frozen cyl, ATF & acetone, some heat, should get that loose. Corrosion in the cyl. wall if it's bad-enough, may require a replacement, if it's too-deep, and the seal cannot make a good seal. It is a good-looking jack. Who has an idea of the probable age of this style? Something post WW II? I suspect its use was for a light truck service?

I do not see where front caster mount is broken. I thought it was a top panel and not a crack (I assume you are talking about what appears as a crack on the right proximal part of the picture) Can you tell me on which side you see the defect?
I have another picture from the side of the front where the plate is better seen... Love the details on the old equipment!
Unfortunately I could convince the seller to send me pictures or send me the dimensions.Not an easy transaction - I guess person is not too motivated to sell probably or does not want to bother with details. All I know that it is stuck in the position from the first picture. Owner suspects it might have been for a truck use, but not sure. Unfortunately I would not be able to assess the jack properly prior to buying it - it's very far from me, but I hope that one of my friends who is in Mississippi now will pick it up for me prior to returning home
I guess I have to assume the worst and hope for the best.

This jack was advertised in 1936 ad. I am copying it from the post of CRTDI to which I referred earlier in the thread
