60" built into the loft over the door. Surround sound system and dvd over the welding gear next to the side door. Cable feed is slaved from inside the house and controled by an IR repeter system.

Just an old RCA 25" that has been dropped a couple of times. Mounted a corner shelf left over from a corner kitchen cabinet.

Years ago when the garage was first built (28x50), I had a 36" widescreen TV. Now that was a big TV. Probably weighed in around 150 lbs or so. I built a large steel cage and mounted it in the cage that was hung from the ceiling. I used a car hub/bearing setup and mounted it up under the trusses that was built into a cradle that straddled the trusses from the top. You could spin the TV to whatever direction you wanted it and watch SportsCenter, football, car racing, etc. I ran conduit underground and pirated the satellite and phone from the house out to the garage and wired in everything. I have a remote in the garage that controls the receiver that's in the house. I never realized how often it was on. Just being able to have the TV on and know what's going on while I worked was much better than the stereo. Now that I've acquired a nice lightweight 42" flat panel, I removed the big TV and cage and mounted a simple post to the bearing assy that's still in the ceiling. I welded some brackets together that match the back of the TV mounting pattern and it's done. Nice TV with ability to swing into any position.

Was at a bar today, thats not the surprising part. They ran chains from the ceiling, for the outer edge. Inner edge mounted to wall. Kind of cool, chain would look cool in the garage.

I posted this in another thread a while back; it's a 50" plasma:

I constructed a corner mount from 1.5" angle iron and faced it with .25 aluminum plate. On this I mounted an articulating arm so the tv can pull out to clear the cabinets and rotate 90 degrees left/right so I can view it from either work bench. The mount is lag bolted into the corner, and I ran 2 pieces of 3/8" ready rod thru the corner and nutted it from outside.

The wall was bowed at the corner so it was sketched in Acad first.

I can take more pix if required.
