Please suggest a floor for my two different garages

Garage 1 is attached to the house and cars will be parked in it and things stay clean. This garage floor should look beautiful.

Garage 2 is detached. It will have a 12,000 lb lift, parking for skid steer, truck and plenty of **** will fall on this floor. Dirty parts will be removed and fluid will hit the floor. Things may get dragged on it. This will be a working garage.

Please advise on a coating for each garage. Epoxy? Porcelain? Brand? This will be done next year as it will be too cold here in NY very soon. I thank you greatly for getting me started. I will have plenty of follow up questions. Thank you in advance.

I would put Racedeck flooring in garage number-1. Goes down quick and it looks really nice.

In garage number-2 rather than epoxy I would use a sealer to seal the floor so oils and other spills wont soak into the concrete. Epoxy would be nice but if you drag things across the floor you would most likely scratch it quite a bit.

Garage number two is what the Ghostshield 4500 and 8500 series are about. It’s designed for the working shop and the display area. I did use acid stain to add some color instead of plain cement grey.

Our suggestions would be the 100% solids www.armorcladepoxy.com 3-layer high build system with primer and Military Grade 2 part topcoat for the garage.

For the shop, our SPGX one part Polyurea which is super resistant to oils, fluids, etc and is super easy to apply and 1/2 the price (but not as thick) as epoxy but will give excellent performance and is easy to recoat if ever needed with no prep.

Alternately for the shop the Ghostshield as mentioned above would be a good choice too. Ghosthshield though penetrates and does not change the surface at all, it just prevents entry of oils, liquids, etc into the concrete so you can clean it off.
