Hello! Joined GJ a few weeks ago, and like so many, I am blown away by the wealth of experience, skill and knowledge that so many members are sharing. I am sure that I have only scratched the surface. I don't recall how I found the site, but I knew as soon as I did, that I had found a new home online. I just have to find a way to manage how much time I spend on so many fascinating threads! 
I am recently retired, living in Michigan. Most likely, my wife and I will be moving to North Carolina within a year or two, and if all goes according to plan I will finally build a dedicated garage/shop instead of making do with a typical suburban attached garage. GJ is by far the best resource I have found to jumpstart the thought process and let me learn from the experiences of others creating, equipping and using their garages.
