I was wondering if anyone makes a plastic plier holder/ divider for 6 or 7 pliers and not the standard 10? My drawer has a metal divider that I am trying to work around.

I know what you mean - well, haven't seen you pliers drawer. But i recently bought the one from HF (made in Taiwan) version. I guess that one could be cut down to give you two.
I looked at my wish list on Amazon recently and see that the pliers holder they have might work for you. I think it is a little better design than HF in some ways. Again, you will be looking at "buy one, get two", if you are willing to cut it.

HF may have a couple options for you with minor adjustments.

They have an adjustable 15 slot pliers rack, 56399, for $18, but its 12 inches long. Could it be cut down? Maybe, but I haven't done that to mine. The dividers should stay on no problem though because of the slide mounting in the middle. Mine currently holds thin grip items like my snap ring pliers set and could easily have 4 inches lopped off with no problem. If not completely apposed to a wire metal one, another option would be their wire style pliers rack, 70022, for $10. It holds 16 but since its wire it would be easy to cut down and fit where you need it and with the 6 or 7 items you need in it. I've got a much longer version than this HF one that I'd cut to fit a drawer around some other tools and it worked well.

You could always buy some cheapo plastic angle mouldings or aluminum and assemble one that fits exactly what you need on the cheap.

Good luck.

You can easily cut one to fit. That's what I did and it worked great. I arranged my pliers along each side of a 16" deep drawer. So I bought three of the twelve inch holders and cut one of them to extend the rack on one side. I even added a few more dividers on each side. Just took a few seconds with a hacksaw. I would recommend the Gearwrench/Apex version currently on sale in the NAPA Real Deals this quarter. They seemed much sturdier than the Harbor Freight one. The adjustable dividers stay put where placed (HF slide too easily) and there is an end cap on the frame that can be replaced after cutting, although not necessary. I'm very happy with my result. I even utilized the left over section to "rack" my adjustable wrenches that had been laying flat in the drawer. Saved a lot of space there as well.

The Harbor Freight red plastic & metal one, you can remove the rubber end-cap/foot and remove the red dividers. With a little time, you could cut down the base to make it as long as you need with the number of dividers you need.

I just bought an Ernst pliers rack for Whatshername's crafting pliers. I don't think it would be hard to modify.

I cut up a wire dish draining rack for my pliers drawer. Sorry no pics but it was cheap and works well for me.

Best bet is the wire shelves at Home Depot for like $8. All you need to do is bend it in the middle. It holds all my pliers, and is highly customizable to fit in any drawer.

i have lots of pliers so i have bought a rack on Amazon but then there was still space in the drawer and pliers to organize so i got a dish drying rack from Target and cut that up. You will most likely need a strong wire cutter to get through the plastic coated wire. But you can customize to your hearts content. Will add a pic later on.

I used the DIY Closetmaid bent shelving. Works great.

That's probably the best bang for your buck, especially if you need to make them for a lot of pliers. I used a 4ft section to make plier organizers that hold about 75 pairs total and then had a lot of shelving leftover that I made wrench organizers out of as well.
