I know there's a million threads on here about plier racks homemade and orderd stuff but I wanted to share this with u after not being able to find a dish rack or shower rack big enough to hold my big handled pliers or channel locks I was ready to order one online but I was cruising Wally today and found these there tie and belt racks there in the shelving and hardware isle not with the kitchen bath stuff like all the other racks got two to try out and there perfect there the perfect length to fit long ways in the drawer and the hooks are offset making the tools sit at an angle so it gives more room in the middle there 8.97 a piece at my store gonna go get one or two more in the morning hopefully this will help someone out there that has been in the same situation as mine happy holidays enjoy

Sometimes they have those plastic tool holding jim jams with the holes in them at the dollar store (99 cents only). I've got one, should've bought more. Otherwise you could just bore holes in wood and hang them that way. Lot more work but very sturdy. You could actually gap the wood in shelf form and just slide the handles through the gaps though it would require moderate wood working (or shelf brackets) and 3 pieces of wood. I usually just use the holes in my foldable workbench for smaller sized pliers though. Same principle with the wood, of course.

In a box (the above was hanging) I'd probably just drill the holes at an angle and put a small 45 degree angle wedge on both ends of the board. It would end up holding the pliers at an angle with open jaws. Wouldn't look too bad.
