Plier Storage

any cool ideas on organizing pliers with the use of pegboard? or any other ways. i saw the wire rack on amazon already.

Mine all go into the drawer marked "pliers" in my tool box. I find that they are just as easy to find that way as if I try to organize them on a board.

I tried a little rack. It was more of a pain in the *** than it was worth. Now I just lay them flat in the drawer.

I am too practical to be cool. I have done both pegboard & drawers and just prefer having them in a drawer.

Here is the way I store my Pliers on my work bench.and it is on wheels so I can move it anywhere in the shop.

And this it the way I protect my tools.

Pliers rack is where it's at. Frees up so much space in your toolbox.

I used bolt cutters to trim down pegboard holders that were designed (I assume) for hammers. They do a pretty good job now with pliers.

(Although I've got to say, Chief Ben's system looks pretty good.)

i picked up a plier rack from snap on, that you trim to size in your drawers. they hold the pliers on there side and it saves alot of room. well worth the 20 bucks.

Here's what my solution was (posted in another post on plier storage). Home made and gives me flexibility I wanted to handle small, medium, and large pliers.

Ok heres mine ( stolen from somewhere on here ) . Simple idea really take a 4-5' length of #12 romex wire and inside that length are 3 holders . Pull the wires out and wrap them around a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe ( in my example ) . I made one for my pliers drawer and 2 for my file storage drawers .
