What would these type of Pliers be used for? The tip doesn't look like regular Pliers. There is no makers name There is only the number 1 on one handle and the number 10 on the other handle. Thanks in advance.

The Corbin pliers I use are like these...



Think you would be frustrated trying to use those the OP posted on Corbins.

Corbin clamp pliers. Note how the slots are offset to line up with the offset wire ends of the clamp. I have a Craftsman set I bought from the old Sears tool outlet in Oakbrook Terrace near Chicago. I frequently stopped there on Saturday mornings to rummage through the vendor engineering samples they sold for dirt cheap. Many had part number codes hand engraved on them.
