Plomb 9742? ruined or...?

Got this guy at an auction in a lot with a bunch of similar proto los angeles screw drivers. Was it sharpened or is it supposed to be like this my guess is it used to be a phillips head, but i'm not sure. Can't put a google to it. Any help

I saw the Proto 9742 but the Plomb seems shorter. the handle i mean Its 5" form end to where screwdriver shaft starts, and 1" diameter. and the shaft is 1/4" just doesnt seem like it is the same to me. Hard to tell from a pic

Actually after reading the descrition, 14.5 inches, seems likely the shaft is about 9.5 inches. guess thats it and i have my first worthless plomb tool! . Bet there arent that many worthless Plombs out there lol

good point, didnt think of that. I figured phillips but im assuming it broke there and the guy just made himself an awl
