Don't know if this post is appropriate. If it's thought to be unfair or inappropriate, I'll remove it.

If you are a Plomb collector, I have a comment about this Plomb wrench on ebay.

I purchased it and returned it. While the seller says "no owner engravings," that is because the previous owner's markings have been ground out, and then the wrench has been polished (removing the chrome of course). The open end of the wrench is diminished in thickness due to this, and the edges are "rounded over" in an odd way due to the considerable buffing involved--buffed so it looks almost chrome-like. Somebody went to a lot of work on this wrench. (And even then, you can still see where the original grinding was.)

Looks great in the photo, though, doesn't it? I should have spotted it as a reworked wrench because I have never seen the OE of a Plomb wrench that is so highly polished and "pillow-y" as this one.

The seller says satisfaction guaranteed, and he did (eventually) return my money (minus shipping costs), so no complaints there. Just a heads up to the other Plomb-nuts on this forum. If you don't mind a reworked wrench, then it may suit you just fine.

Anyhoo, would appreciate some feedback if this sort of post is appropriate here. I really don't know.

I think your post is just fine.I believe the rules for this section only apply to posters with items for sale here. I would be happy to see your info posted if I was looking to purchase this item.
