Plomb Goofy size ratchet.

I just got back from the swap meet and I thought I had found a 1/4" plomb ratchet. I tried to put a socket on it and the ratchet is too big. It's in between 1/4" and 3/8".

What do I have?

It is my understanding that 9/32" drives were used by the military to try and discourage theft, since the tools which a soldier might have at home wouldn't fit.

Actually 9/32" drive was the main drive for everyone before 1/4" came out. At the time that the military was using 9/32" drive so was every mechanic shop in the civilian world. The little Plomb WF-8 9/32" drive ratchet is probably the most prevalent Plomb tool you can find. They are on ebay all the time for $5-$10. That still doesnt stop me from buying them at the flea market and yard sales whenever I see them.
