I got these DBE wrenches, among others, recently. Although they are nothing alike, I got them for the exact same reasons. Most importantly, I like them. I like the vintage patina on the Plomb, and the grandiose name of the “Perfection “ wrench... I love long patterned wrenches in most any brand. This is the first time I have found the “perfection” but I usually hunt through the “not so perfect “ or “neglected and rusty “ wrenches.... which makes this a bonus.
By the way, is there a way to date Plomb tools? This one is marked “1140” which I’m guessing makes it a later wrench than the “WF-“wrenches I have.
I know virtually nothing about the Perfection wrench but it’s marked No. P-25.
Any additional information would be welcome.

I like the 'figured grain' of the wartime Plomb wrenches a lot. I'd put that one in the '43-46 ballpark, before that they usually had a date stamp, and in peactime, pebbles, or at least a smoother grind. the part number are still mostly the same as they were since the late 20s

I think I have a perfection brake spoon.

Yeah, that wrench is probably wartime. It seems they started plating them as soon as the metal restrictions were lifted. It was probably made during the same timeframe as your WF (Wright Field) wrenches that were made for the US Army Air Corps. I’ve never seen a Perfection wrench. That’s cool.

I have a few old aviation tools that have a "P-" number on them. I think they were part of a kit. I don't know if that would pertain to your perfection wrench though.
