Cleaning out my parent's basement I came across this. I had no idea my dad even had this. Any idea what time period?

I'd say it was in service in the late '40s, because the Proto sticker wold not have bee laid over the top before that.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. My dad was a packrat and I've found lots of cool hammers and other stuff.

Were boards like this primarily used by stores that sold Plomb tools, or did mechanics ever buy them for keeping things organized? I've always been curious what the primary market was for the tool boards.
