That driver looks just like my plvmb and p&c drivers. Looks like military markings

Picked this up recently Plomb 5450. Dont think I've seen another posted here or on the ratchet thread. This one would seem to be the later mfd because of the more rounded pebble handle and shank.
Anyone else got one? Or wanna take a stab at what year it was made.
Cheers..Bill

That box set is outrageous OMT. I believe the 5450 is from late in the pebble era, I have one also, but you don't see very many.
I went to an estate sale this morning because I saw a picture of a large pebble DOE. I could make out 1-1/2" on one end of the wrench and got pretty excited. I've been looking for a 3062 DOE for many years - the only one I need to complete the entire set of pebbles. I had a 50-50 chance it would be the right one. Needless to say, this would be the only time I'd be disappointed in finding a 3070. It's still a nice consolation prize.

Were you at the PIR (Portland International Raceway) swap-meet today ? I scored a few Plomb items that I have yet to catalog but didn't find anything Earth-shattering (unless you count the 1 1/4" x 1 ? pebble DOE for $10). Hoping someone else had better luck than I.

No but Saturday I will be ! I think I got the same wrench last year for about the same price;) I am surprised you did not find more plvmb or p&c ! Usually I pull about 30 pieces out of there every year .

I was being more selective this time and actually made a list to follow. There were lots of P&C wrenches, but none that I needed and/or wanted.

Lists are just guides, of course! I did bring home a "flying lady" Proto top chest that is the sturdiest tool box I have ever seen. At $40, I couldn't say no

Been wanting one of these for a while. PLVMBALVY 8" adjustable with broached hanger. It was hiding in the kitchen junk drawer at an estate sale;)

Cost me a whopping $1

Rileysan, The 3061 is a pretty rare wrench, good find. Show a pic when you get a chance.

I found a 1 1/2" x 1 7/16" pebble DBE this afternoon and didn't buy it. The seller wanted $20, but I was being cheapie cheapie. I offered $15 and he counter-offered $18. We both glared at each other and I went about my business.

What's the going rate on those? It's got a name engraved on it and normal wear, but is otherwise in very good condition.

Stormking: I will post a picture of the 3061 tomorrow.

I just picked up a P&C 1/4" ratchet that is clearly a Plomb. The logo is a bit hard to read, but you can make out the P&C part number.
