I think overall you did great. Not sure the value on the press steel box but the top box is worth that alone. So Olson over all you would say an ok deal?

The only Mecca for Plomb tools is Southern California. They are somewhat common up and down the west coast but outside of here, you almost have to be lucky to find them in the wild. Your best bet is probably eBayI've seen a lot of Plomb on GJ but only recently after picking one up at an antique store have I fallen in love with the craftsmanship and beauty that is Plomb Tools. I have a certain thing for box head ratchets and Plomb is certainly my favorite. Do anyone of you know the best play to find other Plomb tools? They seem to be a little scarce here in the Southeast.
I no longer collect, but couldn't resist picking up this P&C WF-88 today for $1.

LuckyI saw this SK box at an estate sale last weekend.

I opened it up to take a look. A eureka moment!

3/8 to 1". Time for a little wire wheeling, and then a long soak in Notlob's secret rejuvenator.

NOTLOB: well i've had that happen a few times and i always appreciate when it does. nice find and congrats cause i'm guessing they are not doubles either.
Moor: you can almost post your PRESSTEEL box on this thread or did you cause it's so close to a Plvmb it might be. i mentioned this before, but are you going to take the top cover plate off your box so a top box will have a lip to hold it up there?
nice find on the small box too.
Twertsy, that looks like a blind-bearing puller. It is for a slide hammer.
What would be a fair price for a tool mobile ?
I have a couple of them P-49 spinners. Oddly enough I found one in a crafty set as well. They appear to have the same part scheme as them Penens Corp R-XXXX sockets.I could see that puller fitting a clutch pilot bearing pretty good.
What did I get here? P-49 doesn't even have the right number of digits for Plomb 4769 spin handle, Proto, or PnC. the seller insisted it was part of the Crafty metric kit for $7. I didn't argue, but that doesn't make him right. Pennens maybe? but I think they follow the Plomb numbering strategy?
one in a mastercraft set;

It also depends on where you live. I don't live in Plomb country so I'd be north of Riley's ceiling for sure.
I find that incredibly beautiful! Did you ever buy it??????
Factory experiment gone wrong maybe I got a few Plomb tools today that were part of a larger deal. The whole pile cost me $20.
- Misc Plomb sockets - the 5 sockets in the upper right. How common are 3/8" drive deep sockets?
- Plomb 1/2" drive pebble ratchet
- Plomb 1/2" drive pebble breaker bar
- Plomb 3/8" drive breaker bar
- Plomb 3/8" drive 4" extensions (x2)
- Plomb 1/4" drive 8" extension. I double checked this one. Definitely 1/4" drive, not 9/32"
