That case is in amazing shape!
Yea, I was shocked to see that it retains almost every bit of crinkle paint on the exterior. Some basic and gentle cleaning will make it look brand new. Even the factory finish remains on a good portion of the puller arms. Very light rust clean up will be done on them as I use each pair.

How about some centennial wrenches or very near. This includes some "Garage Series" and some A.L.A.M. sizes. If you have not heard of ALAM I learned about it from this forum. Worth a read on the "Association of Licensed Automobile Manufacturers".

I picked up this Firestone 3/8" Drive Set last month; first time I have found a complete (as far as I can tell) set. In the past it was just a piece or two. Really nice condition except the crinkle paint on the case is falling off.

On a recent pick, I found this Plomb 4800 Midget Set 9/32”-drive box and when I opened it, it had all the original contents shown. My heart started beating hard enough that I had to plan how to exit the pick quickly before anyone heard it!

I don’t know the significance of the circle. Help needed. 9/32 anvil on this one.

It may be totally unrelated but I seem to recall that the Plomb made ratchets sold in 1/4” drive Craftsman sets had a circle. IMG_8666.jpeg
Here is my 1“ dual marked combo. IMG_4459.jpegIMG_4460.jpegIMG_4461.jpeg

Re: ~ Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Well, GRX, here are some pix. I'm embarrassed to show mine next to your beautifully maintained sets. But I've found each of these one at a time, quickly rinsed off surface dust and dirt so they aren't so messy to handle, and dumped them in my PLOMB bin. Many of them need some TLC to get them looking good again. But even then, there are no complete sets of anything here.

But I promised some photos, so here goes:

First, some ratchets, sockets, and drive tools:

Following are 3/8" drive sockets:

Following are 1/2" drive sockets:

Following is photo of my universals and swivel sockets...two of the universals are 1/2" drive, and the rest are 3/8":

Next is a group shot of most of my Plomb wrenches:

Here is a close-up of the bigger ones:
PlombasstLoRez8.jpg

Like I said, they all need some clean-up attention:

Finally, this last photo shows my Plomb pipe wrench, and my Plomb adjustable wrench:

There are probably more, in the boxes and bins of tools I have not yet sorted by brand name. But these are most of what I have for right now.
That’s a lovely collection makes my one item a poor showing will post a picture if it tomorrow!

Is that where that one originated?

You think maybe it originally came in a Craftsman set?
This one arrived in an Oxwall set, believe it or not.
