For sure there are a lot of honey do’s but I’d rather have that then have to go to work. With 9 grandkids there is always a game or other activity like birthday parties or other family events.

All good, but time consuming. Things I can’t put off for later. The shop is always there waiting. I’ll catch up someday.

The Honey do's and family things I'm OK with. its all the "official" **** that's gotten way too old, and Oh yeah, all the medico types telling me I'm dying soon and need to plan when... I ain't...

Some Plomb additions.
1st off a shout to @alinc100 for the 11/16" WF socket. This is one step closer to a 1/2" drive shallow set.
A 1/2" swivel socket to fill a gap.
A pipe flare set in the original box dated 1937.
Lastly a 1934 small gear puller in the original wood box with all 1934 dated parts. All the parts are triangle Os not round Os but a 1st for me non the less.

My tool collecting buddy in Wales recently found not one but two of the Plomb 1/2” drive ell handles that I’ve been watching out for seemingly forever. They bring the count of known examples to four. I would love to find one for my Plomb based GMTK.P1011977.jpegP1022074.jpegP1022077.jpeg

One hit the sold listings on eBay last week or 2 weeks ago under Plvmb. It was paired with another ell handle. I missed it but hoping someone here picked it up.

I had an opportunity between rain showers earlier to go out in back and clean some stuff up.
This piece was pretty rusty, so I tossed it into the pot and buzzed it with the dreaded wheel.
Didn't notice what was on the other side until after it came out of the Evaporust. Hope I didn't screw this thing up, Don:
Plomb 1136 11.16 x 3.4 dbe war finish 060626.jpg
Plomb 1136 3/4" x 11/16" box wrench "war finish" 06/06/26

I'll shoot it down with the next care package.

^Apex has discontinued their Plumb line. If they didn’t hate each other, and if Stanley was in better financial condition, wouldn’t it be great if Proto bought the trade mark and brought back Plomb! Not that any significant portion of the market would care, but I would find it wonderful.

I would too!

Once upon a time I had hope that Chrysler would bring back the 'Cuda.....in the form of a High Performance Special Edition Challenger
Certainly not an EV!

I found this cool ole Plomb swivel socket yesterday
I have two other Plomb swivels.....now to find the rest of them!

If you're suggesting that StanleyBlack&Decker acquire the Plumb TM from the Apex Tool Group just so it can sell Plomb branded tools without fear of TM infringement - you're an evil genius!

But I think they'd be legally safe and also save themselves some capital if they just wait three (3) years. If Apex announced its discontinuation and does not use the Plumb brand in commerce for that duration, it's considered prima facie evidence of abandonment, and loses its legal protection.

A 125th Anniversary Collectors Edition "Plomb by Proto" toolset would be a neat twist and a have a nice ring to it in 2032. It would make Fayette roll over in his grave and put a smile on Morris's face.
