Drive. That's the one but after looking at the handle something looks off looks like a raised area about 6 inches up and it doesn't appear to have a removable lug.

Do all plomb 1 inch drive ratchets have a removable lug ?

Bought a toolbox with some Plomb in it, here's the pics. Three of the wrenches are war finish.

The one old socket is marked plomb Los Angeles, very roughly made/marked, I think it is the oldest Plomb I have personally ever had.

You are correct, the rope braid sockets are some of the oldest! Good find

Those "rope braid" sockets are pretty hard to find. An 8 pt. 9/16 example just sold on eBay for $66.

I just got this set. I think it's missing a couple sockets. The spinner is trash, too bad as it has female drive in the handle. There is a t-handle and a long extension but no ratchet. And a bonus Snap-on 3/8 socket, lol.

Got some other interesting items at the sale. Who is it here that likes the Screwball ratcheting screwdrivers? Bonneyman, maybe? I got 2, 1 in original package. A Pexto claw hammer. Starrett drill & wire gage.

There are 2 holes drilled in the lid, it looks like water dripped inside the case. I'm betting that spinner was very cold and got dropped or hit with something, and the water getting on it didn't help.

Screwball screwdrivers are awesome! I'm a big fan of the ones made by S/V Tool Company. Post a pic. I'd love to see them.

Olson Yea but I found 21 pieces sat good thing is the guy I got most of them from said he has a ton of stuff he got when his grand pa died and he just wants to off it which I don't get at all but I'm going to his storage on Monday to pick it

That is amazing. You must have alot of plomb in that area. That is all of my plomb smooth wrenches I have. I am putting together a list so I know what I have and what I need. Since I had them out so I thought what the hell might as well throw a picture on the thread.

Yea there seems to be a good bit around I usually pick up something every weekend I started picking up plomb in February I'm up to 175 pieces but when I go to the swap meet I leave no stone unturned thanks for the kudos
