I added this pair of modified Plomb pliers to my flea haul today. You don't usually see the pliers. Too bad someone took a grinder to them.

Double-check that sledge.....it'a likely a PLUMB (Fayette Plumb Hammer Co. of Philadelphia PA)

Double-check that sledge.....it'a likely a PLUMB (Fayette Plumb Hammer Co. of Philadelphia PA)

Difficult to read the U or O so thinking you are probably correct.

Hell I was bummed it wasn't a 1238 but I had a open slot for a 1-3/16 so it fits nicley until one is found

Well, don't be too bummed cause I think it's about as close as you can get! I'd bet though that if anyone could find the 1238 it'd be you with such a collection, which two thumbs up on that by the way

Just picked up a plomb pebble big bertha 1" drive ratchet. (Seen here with a 3/8 drive husky QR for scale). Seems to work good, gotta clean it up and test it out.

I'm sure which one you're referring to, but all the pieces in there are Plomb.

It is the little bar. Just above the 2 3/8 flex bars in the last picture. I didn't know that plomb made a spinner that was all metal.

The Plomb is actually a 9/32"

There are no numbers on the driver. Just 'Plomb USA'

I've had a number of those 9/32 WF-7 flex heads and have never seen one with the numbers on the handle. They've always been on the beam.

Geez thats alot. What do you usually pay per wrench at a meet. Alot of people over here don't know the plomb name and usually can pick up for 1-3 per wrench depending on size.

I usually pay that Or less.i find most of it in the bottom of a bin of rusty **** almost every one says 1 dollar unless it's a larger one. And if I find a bunch in one spot I'll try to get them for 2.50 ea also found a couple p n c 1/4 drive sockets and some proto la stuff today the swapmeet I go to seems to have an endless supply and the sellers have no knowledge all they know is snap-on or craftsman
