They look amazing I am drooling.I sent off a set of pebble wrenches to be nickel plated several months ago, and while it took longer than I expected to get them back they look great! Several members helped me finish filling in my set...thanks guys!

I'm looking forward to using them! My friend whose family owns the plating facility told me he tried to chrome a few initially but the chrome was too thick and the box ends wouldn't fit on a bolt head or nut. He stripped off the plating and went to the nickel. It isn't polished, but I like the look. Evidently the plating is more durable than chrome and should last well even as the wrenches are used.
Edit: sorry the pics look so big! I'm not sure how to make them smaller.

Did you see in the Williams thread where I found one of those Koto Superratchets? Cant find any info on that thing.
If you do get it would trade you a pebble 1/4 drive ratchet for it.[emoji4]

So I have been working on some plvmb tool boards for my garage. I would love to have originals but they are hard to find and I would be worried about ruining them since they would be super close to where I actually work on cars. I decided to create some of my own with stickers I had made of the old logos. I will be making a different green tool board plvmb sticker as well as p&c but for now I wanted to show my progress. The boards are 78" tall and are about 22" wide. I have an old garage with exposed beams so I decided to create a nice display for my collection while still having them close and handy. I do use my plvmb tools as it is a working collection, they are not just for showI used 3/4 thick plywood and sealed the wood before drilling holes in it to put screws into. I did put vacuum hose around the screws so that the screws will not scratch the tools and hopefully they stay put! I will be creating some proto los angles boards and p&c boards but they will be smaller than the plvmb ones. I used this plvmb advertising board as a inspiration. Hope you guys enjoy... I will be selling the extra stickers I don't need as I had to buy lots of 10 in order to get the stickers made...

Overall view- for size reference, the pipe wrench having up is a 24" and the large ratchet with the blue tape is a 3/4 drive that needs new guts...

Close up of the proto sticker. I had them made in 6" widths and 4" widths as well. Have not made the proto boards yet but am sure I will not use all 10 of them

As you guys can see I still have a long way to go towards the collection but I have a pretty good start and I enjoy seeing and using them each time I am in the garage!
Almost 3 months later and a trip to the same flea market... So, if you're still interested, Let me know.Wish you'd grabbed it........

Proto is Plomb. Just a name change.
Woah Snapmom drops the Plomb Bomb on us!
Twertsy, I have a ratchet you might like to see, I'll post it at The Archives.
What category are you going to post it under?
I'm speachless! I'm betting even the great ratchet ***** powderkeg doesn't have one of those!Check out Recent Content, Chop. It's a Chrome X Quality (Bog) ratchet like Snapmom's above. I posted on GJ before but I think it belongs there too. Sorry to get off the Plomb topic guys. They are all related in a way.
I love those Roseanna!

Of course it's Bog made! And yes, very axle like. This sure looks bog made... Also does any one else think this ratchet looks like it was made with the end of an axle?![]()

Nice dual marked wrenches and welcome to the forum.I'm new to the forum but I love my PLOMB/PLVMB tools. Here's a few of my favorites. Along with my...Herbrand, S-K, Williams, Armstrong, Blackhawk, Challenger, Chrome X Quality, Bonney....oh I'm sure I forgot a few.
These are my tools....There are many like them, but these are mine.
Everything has a price, you just need a lot of money to buy mine.
Seems like every Plomb ratchet I have, have the same amount of play/slop in the gear mechanism. Were they made that way or just old and got some miles on them ?
I have old and new 3/8" and 1/2" Proto ratchets, and they are all loose. Ratchet to extension or socket fit is loose also.
