I never imagined I would have anything to show in this thread, but made a surprising discovery, in my own tool box, the small carry one that goes everywhere for small in-field and road-side repairs..
My 3/8" drive universal joint is a PLVMB WF - 24
There are two little 'Plomb Bob' arrows either side of the word 'PLOMB', the one in front points downwards and the one behind points upwards.
It has faint traces of the remains of a grey finish on the steel mostly worn off.
I presume this was made as a 'special' for Wright Field contract, but I have no idea where I got it from!
