It is too wet for yard work here in Oregon lately and too damn cold as well. For something to do until it drys out the wife and I decided to check out a few of the local junk shops on Saturday where I found this 9920 Plomb tool tray. It's had it's hip sides rather poorly shaved to lower the handle and is beat up a bit but I don't mind that too much because it now fits in a toolmobile drawer. It may even be modified more than I think because there is no socket tray built into it either. Currently it is 19" x 7" x 3" tall. Ed.

Nice looking tray with the stamped logo.

I'll probably alter it again at this point to clean it up better. Nothing to loose at this point.

"Butchered" is close to what was done to it. At least they left the Plomb stamping clean. For under $20 had to come home with me.

If it fits, you must buy it!

That's what I thought when I first saw it....Hey that just might fit!

Nice looking tray with the stamped logo.

I looked back in the catalogs and I think Plomb sold at least two tool trays with their own PN and the logo stamped in. The earlier version may have been a little wider. Most if not all were green. This is definitely a repaint. Ed.

Plomb a Poluza.

6 aviation contract Crowfoot including 3 unknown to Ed's orginal list. From my understanding this is the most complete list of the K and F series tools that is public. Is anybody else into these?

A 226 with pebble handles.

A 1164 LA aka behemoth to add to the slowly progressing LA series.

And rounding out 2 LA screwdrivers thanks to a trade from DonIMG_20200207_202631909.jpegIMG_20200207_202639493.jpegIMG_20200207_202647740.jpegIMG_20200207_202655515.jpeg

WOW! These are some great adds Roy. I've never gotten into trying to collect the crowsfoot stuff. The only list I've ever seen (and the one I think you are referencing) is the one on the old Plomb web site. How much of that list have you been able to collect?

Yes the list from the Vannata Bros website. I haven't seen too many of the forum here so I am unsure if anyone is actively collecting them.
I only have 13 of them now with one duplicate.

I was actually referring to the list that was on Plombob's old site, but it is indeed the same as the list on the Vannata site.

Have not used all of them. A few are proto LA. They have some interesting markings.

Rocketdyne, I remember that name from my youth in SoCal! Used to have a facility in Azusa I think.

Here are two of the three Pebble combos that I received from Roy today as part of a Plomb trade. I haven’t finished cleaning up the third one yet. Thanks, Roy! I found these other tools at an estate sale today.

Looks good Don. You will have to post a set photo once you get the last one cleaned up.

Roy,
Here they are. I took a shot of my slowly growing flare nut wrench set too.

I didn’t know I was missing it but I don’t have one. I was just happy to find a 3/8” one recently and Roy traded me a few others to get to where I am now.

Thanks to a trade from the from world famious Lugsonian I have added a 3/8" X 1/4" deep well socket.

After adding it to the master inventory sheet I realized that this put me over the 1,500 Plomb mark! Sights set on the 2K mark.

Thanks Lugz

Added a few more today. A 3/8" flare pebble and the ever elusive star nut wrench that I had no idea was a brake spoon.IMG_20200212_171600860.jpeg

I didn’t know they were elusive. I found mine in the wild last March. I usually pick up brake spoons for my neighbor’s collection but I hung on to this one!
