No plomb gets left behind [emoji3]
I went back for it Sunday. :lol2:

A rough 247 to add to the board. It will be a place holder for now until I can find the 246. Here is a group shot.IMG_20200222_193012621.jpgIMG_20200222_193018904.jpeg

So does that board show all of your Pliers? I looked because I thought I had a 246 but apparently I do not. I can't find any 201 pliers anywhere online...

Also found this guy on Sunday. I'm beginning to buy every "big boy" Plomb wrench I see, I can't believe they're this rare, figured I might as well while I see them.

well done.

I have a few more pliers that are not on the board for some reason. I think I am about half way through. Still missing these to fill it out.

Found a rare bird but already have the size just not in smooth base. A 3065 pebble second largest DOE. It will make a good stand in for the time being or good trade bait for any of you Plomb collectors looking to fill out the insanely hard DOE set. **Cough Ragz** [emoji3]
You probably already know this but for some reason you'll see half a dozen 1147-13's for every other NAF tool you run into.
If definitely seems to be the dominate size of the grouping but that is an insane ratio. Thanks for the heads up.IMG_20200225_185933418.jpegIMG_20200225_185926069.jpgIMG_20200225_190003465.jpgIMG_20200225_190008941.jpg

As you may have seen in the Gsale thread, I got these two ratchet repair kits at the big swap meet. They came out of a mom and pop auto parts store. When I saw them, I just stopped in my tracks and checked them out. Theres no Plomb marking. Then realized the ratchets listed were Plomb numbers. I bought them both for the mighty sum of $5 and walked away smiling! I noticed the bottom has tape over the bottom logos. One is starting to let loose but the other is stil pretty tigh. I'm hoping it says PLOMB tool company under neath.

Man that P looks pretty persuasive toward Plomb. When is the unveiling?

You might look on YouTube for people who resore boxes for toys to get an idea of how to take that tape off without damaging the paper underneath. I have a bad habit of rushing things like that much to my detriment, so just a word of caution.

Good idea! Ill get it out tomorrow and see if they will loosen up!!
I wonder if a hairdryer would be a little safer as a first try. If the adhesive has a melting point, it might loosen without moisture. If it’s only water soluble, steam will be necessary, but if the box gets wet, you may end up pulling the label off with the tape.
Seems a sure thing it’s going to say The Plomb Tool Company.

Well, I looked around today and found out my iron has been confiscated by my daughter. So, I tired a hairdryer on low, and high. Nothing. that tape is ON there like part of the box almost. So, after work, tomorrow I'm going to get my iron back and try the steam process. Also I am going to sort all the things out in the boxes and put them where they go. Each compartment is stamped with the ratchet number into the cardboard. Lots of stuff in there!

Well, I got off work tonight and went and got my iron. Set it up and got it to steaming. It had no effect on the sticker! Got a little mad and walked away from it for a bit. Came back with some little scrapper tools. I lightly scrapped on it for a while and little but little it thinned the sticker. Finally!!! I see Bluer letters and ink!! What do I see??? Proto..... I see Proto Lady logo!

Well done on the weatherheads. I have been looking for an example of those. All in due time.
