I wouldn't know one way or another but, jeez, where were you guys when I was getting my knuckles rapped for simply asking that guy with the neon sign awhile back for some details.?

Nice wrench, I really like that particular offset look, definitely the best piece of that lot you just got, and apparently for pretty cheap.
That cat. describes a 12 point. The catalog pic is a little blurry, is it a 6 point in the picture like your wrench?

I just confirm it with another collector it is an earlier version of this wrench around 1925. The wrench was originally a 6pt and was a SR11 part number.

So I asked the seller "What's the story on the clock?" and he just replied that it "was originally a school clock that a friend painted."

Interesting... it looks good but now I zoomed in you can tell something is off . I don’t know who borrowed whose look but here are the sealed power clocks I was talking about. There is a strong resemblance in the logos

I couldn't stand the thought of them being separated.

Back in November 2018, I picked up a little 4751 ratchet on eBay. The seller mentioned that it was non functional and sure enough it had a broken pawl. I’ve been looking for a working reasonably priced one since then and today one arrived that the eBay seller stated was functional three different places in his listing. That should have been a red flag. Sure enough, it only worked one way and when I opened it up it not only had a broken pawl but one of the springs was missing. I compared it to my first one and was pleasantly surprised to see that they each had different broken pawls. I used the best pieces from both ratchets and came out with quite a nice example. When I contacted the seller he claimed to have tested it both directions but offered a partial refund. Since a spring was missing it obviously had been taken apart before. At least I now have a decent example. It’s obvious why Plomb stamped NR on them and discontinued them so quickly. Mine won’t ever be put in use. The first two pictures are from November 2018.

I've not added one to my collection yet but hope to find one some day. I've wondered why they decided they needed to introduce a smaller version? But then again I ponder a lot of things they did!

It looks good, anyway... There's a chap in Mancester UK who makes hundreds of different reproduction clocks, but I haven't seen him do a Plomb one.

It does look good. Dude could've picked a bunch of designs that wouldn't have looked good in that format but came up with a pretty good one.

A few eBay purchases to slightly offset the cancellation of the pioneer power swap meet. It is not as big as the Portland swap but is the biggest swap meet I have found in the upper Midwest. Last year the best pick was the Plomb micro pear ratchet and midget DBEs for all a quarter to 50 cents each.

Anyone have any Kopr-Klad drive tools?

The only tools I have seen Plomb use the KOP-R-KLAD brand name for have been the DBE and spud wrenches in the 1941 catalog, Rags. That does indeed look like a finish coat of copper plating, just like the KOP-R-KLAD wrenches, as opposed to a copper undercoat with the plating worn off. Because it's a "WF" tool, one hunch would be the USAAF ordering a non-sparking version fo the "WF" line. But, copper was tightly restricted, and, it's funny we haven't ever seen any others. So, I will reserve final assessment.

Wright Field. It was part of a government contract production for WWII. There is still about 5 numbers that are still not known to the public as they have not been found yet. Last year an unknown was found in the WF-3.

More specifically and more exclusively than "military" or "government", their contracts were with the US Army Air Corps, part of the US Army Air Forces. Only USAAF/Air Corps tools had "WF" on them. Their HQ was at Wright Field, which became Wright-Patterson AFB in 1947.

You know, I found a Williams 1/2 breaker several months back that was coated just as this one is. I need to find it an compare their coatings. Wonder if they were done at the factory or outsourced by the tool purchashers.

No, I was not referencing the one from a few days ago, I meant the one from earlier this year. Guy who posted it, his user name started with a s?? I tried searching and can’t find it. The round /painted clock discussion came up in the plomb fb page and I was trying to show the guys a picture of one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
