Just in case my post wasn't clear, ALL the drawers on Plomb Tool Co 9990's - including the bigger drawers, have D-ring pulls in ALL the catalogs in the 1930's up through 1949.
I am interested in knowing if the catalogs were inaccurate, or if those two scallop pulls help date Bill's box to very late 1949 or possibly 1950.
So I am interested in collectors with Plomb 9990's from the late 30's or early to mid 40's to verify if the pulls are ALL D-rings or two D-rings and two scallops.
EDIT: Disregard. It wasn't as difficult to search as I thought it was going to be. The first few 9990's I found on the thread were all configured like Bill's, two D-rings, two scallops. Some have all D-rings, though. So the catalogs were just not accurate. Or not completely representative, better said.
