Hmm. I have some Plomb metric wrenches. No troll. They did have a set of DOEs that's were dual marked.

Looking for a Round Beam Plomb 1068 Double Box End Wrench

I forgot about the dual marked ones you have. I know you are not trolling. Does anyone else have any besides you? Even proto la ones are not common

I think I have one or two of the Proto LA metric DOE, but no, they are not common. But if you think about how many euro cars were in the states before 1956, it isn't surprising they are so rare. And why it is sometimes easier to find Whitworth from that period.

Rileysan has a nice set in the roll that I found for him a few years back. Yeah. I regret that trade for sure [emoji23] maybe he will post them

Some Plomb finds in a "pile of wrenches" lot off of Facebook.

Three tappet wrenches and an ignition wrench

I had just purged all the Plomb that accumulate through the summer estate sale season out, and today got a 9/32" WF ratchet thrown in as an incidental as a trade. Wish it had come a couple of weeks earlier....

Smoke, I put it all on ebay as a lot, cheap. Fast easy way to let it go, and not ship to 10 different people. Was just mixed, odd pieces, nothing really special. A few extensions, several sockets, ratchets, some wrenches, yellow handle screwdriver, etc. Just stuff that came to me with other lots of things I wanted. The curse of every estate saler, the "extras" that come with the desired stuff. I'm making a real effort to not accumulate stuff. Been doing more purging of excess today. Sent a 26" toolbox stack out the door, a drill press, a box full of smaller miscellaneous tools, a fire safe, an area rug. All cheap on facebook, to make space. Still going at it. I go out and work in the shop for awhile, find a few things to purge, take pictures and post them, go back out and do the same again. Still working towards getting my cars inside for the winter, almost have two bays clear. Plus back shop clear enough to work a bit in it. Really need to get rid of an extra lathe and mill, but have to get the new ones up and running first.

I am glad to hear you are getting rid of the excess stuff. I did that a few years back and it was a bit hard but is totally worth it! Today I bought a bag of sockets at habitat for humanity for 2 plomb sockets. While at the check stand, I removed the 2 sockets and handed the bag right back to them to resell so I don’t have to worry about it cluttering my area! I totally get the cheap prices to get things gone! Your space and energy are worth something

I would be curious to know who made them. Here is a fulton 3/8 set and a brazil set. Seems to all be sk related.

SMOKE, BMWARD,AND OTG,

The seller says they are SK,And the part numbers and pictures look legitimate. The hasp looks a little like the ones OTG has posted,of the Brazil box nature. I will give a report once they arrive. I don't believe I shared the tools here. The kit is an SK 9 piece 1/4 socket set, with the appropriate mix of sizes and socket points ,and the SK CROSSBAR. No flex bar,but it comes with a very nice Plomb sliding t bar.....Thats why I posted here......And for about 21 bucks,I'm not complaining! !!

Ah,you sold that lot to me. That ratchet is a beauty. Thank you!

I am going to start on my pliers board shortly. I am trying to see how pliers are mounted or supported on the boards. I looked at my Proto mailers that show that boards on display and I can quite see how they are mounted. It looks like maybe they have one screw under their pinch point between the handles? Can someone post a picture of their pliers board? This thread gets a lot more traction than the Proto/ plomb tool board thread that I am also posting on.

I added a few things to the boards today via Roy. A 1246 pebble(1-7/16) I got this summer in a trade that I finally cleaned up! Also 2 dual marked wrenches and also some 3/8 shallow and deep sockets. I have never found any deeps in the wild and want some for a carry box set I am putting together! I also got some 3/8 sockets from catfishdan a while back so I should be able to mix and match finishes to be pretty close for a set I can use if the mood strikes me!

I love that box! I know those pop up on eBay from time to time with the nos wf sockets inside. Also you did well on the ratchets! It is interesting to look at all the differences in the pebbles when you put them together!

Well done on the 1246! Those big fellas aren't easy to find. I ended up with two of them (the second 1246 I acquired came in a group lot with the next two largest: 1244 and 1242). Ended up being much nicer condition than the one I already had.

Thanks! This one isn’t in too bad of shape and if you knew what I paid you would probably not be very excited [emoji38]

Here you go outlaw[emoji41]

I got a package today from unaiu! He hooked me up with some plomb dual marks for some p&c pieces. I also got a wrench from a contract of Roy’s! Getting a little closer on the dual mark combos. I think the big boys will harder to find but I am getting closer!

Dual mark combo- 1/2 and 9/16

Dual mark dbe- 5/8-9/16 long pattern

Doe - 3/4 and 5/8- this wrench is different and super cool because it also is a contract marked wrench 1114 PWA ! Now does this mean I need to start collecting contract marked dual marked doe’s? [emoji15][emoji23]
