There are a few Plomb pals here so I wanted to let you know what's going on with the website.

Microsoft is shutting down Office Live Small Business tomorrow. That's where my site was hosted. Their instructions to migrate the website were poorly written and I've had nothing but trouble with the process. I haven't completed the migration and there's no chance I will have the site moved by tonight. MS is deleting all content on OLSB tomorrow.

Looks like I will have to find another provider. If anyone has suggestions, I'd like to know.

I intend to restart the website. I don't know when it will be up, but I'll let y'all know when it is available.

And thank you for building and maintaining a valuable resource for those of us struggling in darkness to figure this stuff out!

I'll try to scrape it. I sent a PM. Get back to me ASAP and I'll try pulling directly from the server for you.

I really appreciate the kind words from the GJ guys, and the suggestions for hosting! I'll check out the info. It's because of guys like you that GJ is a great place to hang out.

Im hoping to have the website back up late tomorrow night. There may be some initial issues with links but I'll be working tomorrow night to bring it all back up. Glad I could save everything - had it not been for the sitemap, a lot of stuff would have been missing.

I'm a little surprised you didn't have a complete copy of all of your web pages stored on your home computer. I have a couple of web sites hosted on Tripod (Yahoo) and I created the pages with MS Frontpage 2000 so I have every page on my hard drive.

I have the pages. The most important thing at risk was the email I've accumulated over the years. I have info from the Plomb family and the trail of historical info is important. I spent over 30 hours working on email. I have all of the important info saved to my local machine (and backing up to Carbonite).
