I started a thread about Plomb WF no-name ratchets here:
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28318&highlight=plomb
I put it in General Garage Discussion instead of General Tool Discussion by mistake and didn't know how to move it.
I keep running across these Plomb WF ratchets at the flea market that have no identification on them. Usually get them pretty cheap because no one knows what they are. I bought the 1/2" for $2.00 and the 1/4" for $5.00 with a set of mixed SK and Craftsman sockets. Don't even remember where the 3/8" came from. The only id on any of the ratchets is a U in the web of the handle on the 1/2" but it is not a circle U like on the Plomb ratchets they made for Craftsman. I saw another of these 1/4" plain ratchets on the board a while back that someone had bought with a Craftsman 1/4" drive set. Does anyone know what the history is on these unmarked ratchets?
