Plug wart falling out-how to secure

Short version- There is an outlet kind of in the middle of a wall and furniture below and tight to the wall.

I've got a heavy wall wort that must be plugged in there, and it keeps falling out. I bent the plug prongs enough times to stress the "brass".

There is no room underneath it to lay a power strip either.
I need to unplug it once and a while too. What is the best way to keep her connected?

Even changed the outlet a year back, same thing is happeneing

Get a better outlet. Buy a spec grade outlet, and it will have better prongs than a cheapie.

Does the wall wort have a ground (I'm guessing not)? Hospital grade outlets have an extra strong grip on the ground pin.

Stop jamming furniture up against it?

This just sounds like a case of plugging it in at a bad location.

They make mini extension cables, can you use one of those? Maybe get one with a flush plug.

Wall warts are small transformers and make heat. You aren't to have stuff against them.

Try spreading the prongs on the wall wart just a bit, for a tighter fit. Most wall wart prongs are solid, but if you happen to have one where the prongs are two layers, force an awl or ice pick in between the layers which spreads them out (do that with prongs on a solid surface, or you'll poke yourself). Also, you could use a power strip that you can place on the floor, so the wall wart is facing up.

Install a commercial grade outlet.

Overall, it might be best to get a short extension cord and put the wall wart somewhere else. Wall wart extenders that are 6" to 12" long are easily found, or you could go longer and place the wart on a bottom shelf or under something out of view.

It likely gets warm in use, so it will need some air space so heat doesn't build up. I wouldn't leave it lying on carpet or surrounded by books or furniture.

I've used 3M double-stick foam tape (it's crazy strong stuff) to better secure a large, stupidly awkward wall wart to a UPS.

^^^THIS!

Get a cord with a flat, 90 deg plug.

YUP!
the outlet was a $1 bargain bin, I'll grab a 2$ one:D

The off-set HD plug is also getting purchased. I did try a short "cheap again" extension, but a thick 45-degree one will work better, the weight won't pull it directly out.

I also read someone mentioned a screw, that's next since it's on a stud I'll screw a wire in above it as a last resort. It is for some air purifier and if I remember it was like 22 volts and old, (looks like a toaster) but she swears by it, I think it's the "white noise" of the thing she likes.

PS
It's above a chest, so it isn't tight against something- if it was, it wouldn't be falling out....

So now I thought of just HD velcro to the plug and to the wall/plate- but that MAY be too wide for the plug to sit flush but COOL!:willy_nil

I like those $1 shortys above and use them for tons of stuff,

but one other option is my new favorite thing: "Magic Nano Tape".

this stuff is seriously awesome. I keep finding more and more uses.

a little piece will hold that wall wart on the wall until you twist and remove it. plus you can rinse it and reuse it.

I think they sell it on TV expensive but I got a big roll off amazon for cheap.

I even have some bookshelf speakers I stuck on the wall with this stuff.

greatest thing since Velcro!

How does it compare with 3M Very High Bond (VHB) tape, like molding tape?

A quality outlet…maybe some double faced Automobile tape…I’m sure there is a remote controlled power cord you could use to control it
