If it is Whitworth, it is probably from a tool kit for a Rolls-Royce Merlin aircraft engine. Many aircraft tools during WWII had an AT prefix.

Yes, thats it. One of the RR Merlin tool kits. They have the AT prefix.

I find myself in a strange predicament. I have thirty 1/2W sockets and Thirty 1/4W sockets still sealed and dated. I have a faint memory that they’re a mixture of Plomb and SnapOn. I opened one of each, but I feel like they must be of more interest to folks if they’re still sealed? I want to sell them, what to do?!!
Some are still smeared in cosmoline, some are dried out and the finish is partly gone. What a predicament!
