OOPs wrong picture that's my wife at Halloween. I clicked on the wrong picture. Here's mine. Don't mind the air cooler (don't flame me it's going bye bye)
That's a made up line from a truck place. I used to work in the parts dept.

I need to ask why your doing away with the 'cooler' on your setup?

I am planning on running mine up the wall in the basement using 45's - or 4 switchbacks, then out to the garage. With what has been suggested it will fall short on length at only 20 ish feet. I figured It will be better than nothing since this compressor can only handle 5 CFM on a good day.

Ok found a thread...on one of my other actually...that addressed reducing the threads vs drilling and tapping. Here:Link

And found that -12 is a 3/4" equivalent.

Go to a NAPA and have a hydraulic hose made with a 1/2" NPT fixed on one end and a 1/2" NPT swivel on the other end. Install the fixed end first on the compressor then the male swivel into your system plumbing.

It's overkill but go big or stay home

Thanks I plan on talking with them tommorow. Figured up the necessary -AN fittings and it was $75, including the hose (3Ft Minimum). Pretty sure fittings and a hose from napa will beat that depending on what I find out at ACE for fittings.

Dave,
Most of your fittings are in measurements of 16's.
Did you do the work on installing a Cummins in your Ford?

I'm a little late in the game....

But....I just used a short hose from HF.....my compressor is installed in a 'closset' behind my garage....I have a quick connect in the wall....the short hose has male fittings on both ends....plugs in.

All of it standard 1/4" NPT stuff.....
