I have a "horizontal" ABS sewer line sloped at just over 1/2" per foot as needed to follow ground slope to a septic tank. What is the correct way to connect that pipe to a vertical drain stack?
Seems like the options are:
1) force fit the pipe into the fitting, which might preclude getting the pipe full depth into the socket
2) try to accomplish a change in slope to 1/4" per ft in the last 10 ft or so before the transition to vertical pipe
3) use a rubber coupler to permit a small angular offset
4) maybe some better way?
