PLVMB bottle opener- DIY

Never heard of PLVMB before this forum, got a buggered up ratchet body (no mech) in a auction lot for free.

Hope this isnt to sacrilege for some of you

rare earth mag in tip catches the cap!

Certainly not sacrilege as it was broken and I assume beyond repair. Besides it isn't a pebble finish. Plus when you tire of it you can sell it on ebay as a rare Plomb bottle opener for big $'s

There are some experts on this forum when it comes to PLVMB who I am sure know the answer. I would bet on it, ahead of their time if so.

The correct spelling is Plomb. At some point they incorporated and upside down triangle for the o. And during a certain time frame it was right side up.

Plomb is not the same a Plumb tool company. Plumb sued Plomb in 1946 I believe and won and Plomb became Proto.
