I'm not as familiar with older plomb, more so with pebble. This ratchet doesn't have a ID number and the logo is not the LA logo - I'm assuming it's 30's. Measures 16" long. Don't remember seeing any this long. Does anyone know the mfg. date and/or number?

Gort, I know what you mean, the catalogs don't show some of the tools that were available either. I think Plomb made a lot of contract tools but I thought they would have a part number on them. By the way this came from an old estate in Vancouver. thanks

With those symbols, the round "O" and the "1A" it should be 1931.

"LA" for Los Angeles is there on the square bit.

Outlaw, Thanks for the reply but I think the drive plugs were sold seperate to the ratchet. I don't have any of the older catalogs but the ratchet should have a number like DE-** if early 30's or 54xx if later 30's. I'm kind of into history so that is why I'd like to know. Thanks again.
